As COMPUTER CONSULTANT, with decades of experience behind me, I can study and find solutions to optimize and improve the various production realities.The solutions proposed, with special attention to SIMPLIFICATION, may require the creation of customized procedures, as well as the use of products already on the market, allowing their integration and the possibility of interacting.

my professional experience

1980/1982

My work experience starts in the early eighties as a programmer at a Ravenna software house where, with the advent of the first PCs, the Olivetti M20 and M24 and the Commodore, development of management and engineering programs.

1983/2003

In 1983 I entered as a partner and administrator, together with 2 computer engineers and a hardware technician, in the S.I.Ra. Computers s.r.l. Società Informatica Ravennate, with whom I walk my professional path, participating in a wide range of work experiences, such as:- Consultant, for many years, at a leading cooperative in the national IT sector, where I deal with the implementation of management and application software, as well as the analysis of problems, assistance and the creation of software, even with their customers, as regards the procedures carried out on IBM S1, S38 and As/400 systems (in RPG language). I also participated in the implementation of applications developed in PROGRESS.- Consultant, for about a year, at a large-scale retail cooperative where, as programmer analyst, I participate in the implementation of the entire procedure for managing a HYPERMARKET.- Consultant as a programmer analyst, for a period of ten years, at a large-scale retail cooperative, for which I carry out and implement the procedures in RPG language, first on the S38 system and then, after collaborating on their migration, on a system AS / 400.I also participate, as "Project Manager", in the adjustment for the YEAR 2000 and, subsequently, in the EURO of all the procedures carried out in RPG.

2003/2009

Still within the sphere of the S.I.Ra. Computers s.r.l., which among other things is also an "Internet Provider", since 2003 I dedicate myself mainly to the areas of MANAGEMENT and INTERNET, and more precisely:- I carry out analysis, development and Help Desk activities on the management procedure implemented (in Visual basic) and distributed nationally through a network of dealers.- I follow the Internet sector, supporting one of my partners in the management of web, mail and ftp servers, as well as in the management and registration of domains, in maintaining a web portal and in the study and creation of websites in HTML, ASP and , lately, in ASP.NET.

2010

After the experience with S.I.Ra. Computers s.r.l., in the conviction of being able to continue to offer a valid professional support, undertaking the path of the freelancer.


Attention in the construction techniques

In the design of applications and websites, I pay particular attention to implementation techniques, using customized solutions that reflect the best quality standards, compatibility with various browsers, compliance with the rules of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in order to favor coupons search engine placements. Through the care of a good quality graphic, associated with the ease of navigation and accessibility, I consider making the use of the websites pleasant and functional.These attentions in design and implementation are equally addressed whether they are small static sites or more complex dynamic applications, based on archives such as databases, XML or text files and whose content can be updated directly online.Using the latest techniques, the sites I create can meet the needs of both small businesses, which have nevertheless understood the importance of being present on the Internet at least with a "showcase", and of those who require a more important presence, with content that they can be updated frequently even by those who are not familiar with web development, with information and multimedia materials that can be downloaded and managed by computers or mobile devices, up to the management of electronic commerce (E-Commerce).
